Notes on moderation
Lecture sessions can only be successful if the moderators prepare for the session accordingly. It is desired that the "first" moderator briefly (max. 2 minutes) introduces the topic of the presentation. One of the other moderators should give a short summary of the session at the end. In this regard, prior agreement between the moderators would be desirable.
You are responsible for ensuring that the speaking times are adhered to and that there are no disruptions to subsequent sessions! Please also ensure that you are registered. As a moderator and speaker, you will receive the early bird rate.
Notes on presentations
Please note that you can upload your presentation (only PowerPoint presentations *.ppt, *.pptx) via the Internet from September 2025. Please also note: the projection format on site is 16:9 (resolution 1920 x 1080 px). For the upload, you will receive an e-mail at the beginning of September with the corresponding link to your personal password-protected presentation portal as well as further technical information.
It is therefore no longer necessary to submit your presentation to the media reception on site.We would like to point out that all sessions will be recorded for a web presentation on the DGU homepage. For this purpose, we need a picture of all speakers, which you can also upload in advance, together with your presentation, on the same portal.
NO media will be accepted in the lecture rooms. It is not possible to connect your own notebooks.
Your technical presentation questions will be answered by e-mail (dgu(at)m-events.com).
Sound and image recording
Image and sound recordings are not permitted for copyright reasons.
Lecture prizes (clinical/experimental)
At the end of a lecture session, the moderators will nominate the best lecture of the respective session in terms of presentation form and content to the lecture prize jury. Forms for judging the presentations will be available on the moderators' table. Please complete these after the session and hand them in to the room staff.
