Abstract submission

Information about handing in abstracts

Please note that all abstracts have to be given in online until the following deadline:01.03.2022.

All abstracts that haven’t been presented at a German congress nor have been accepted as a presentation up until the point of giving it in are all allowed to be submitted. The abstracts are allowed to be in German and English.

All authors agree the abstracts to be published by the DGU once they have been accepted. In case of a video presentation all authors agree for their abstracts to be published by the DGU.

entry title and text:

maximum of permissible symbols (including blank spaces): 1.800

All titles will be converted automatically in bold type.

Please follow this structure when entering the abstract-text:

  • introduction
  • material and methods
  • results
  • conclusions

These structure points will automatically be formatted by the system and don’t have to be extra edited.

CAUTION/ATTENTION:formats and special characters can be lost during copying. These can be checked in the PREVIEW.

If you copy more than 1800 characters into the form the abstract text can’t be saved!

Important information:

You can maximally create 3 tables and each table shouldn’t be bigger than 10 rows x 10 columns.

For every row of a table 50 characters (from 1800) will be taken off.

After creating and filling a table you have to place the table in your abstract text.

● German or English audio

● abstract film cover with film title, author and running time
